About Happy Electronics

We are a small team of programmers and electronics developers. We build our own devices and the apps that run them, for better sleep and calmer everyday life. We are based in the Czech Republic, in the heart of Europe.

Our motto is simple: make products that improve the quality of life. Over the years that has meant sleep monitoring, devices for measuring heart rate variability (HRV) and skin conductivity, and audio-visual stimulation devices — usually built together with the people who end up using them.

What we make today

  • Noxuma Sleep

    A free app for iOS and Android that tracks your night using the phone's own microphone and wakes you gradually. It needs nothing but a phone.

  • Sleep Phaser

    A bedside lamp that measures movement during sleep. It is an optional extension of the app — handy when another bed in the household should get its own record.

  • Other devices

    We also make the Bluetooth Sleep Mask, Mindroid glasses and the StressLocator oximeter, plus custom work for partners building their own products.

A short history

  • How it startedLong before any sleep hardware, we began by designing and manufacturing Psycho Walkman audio-visual stimulation devices — our own products, designed and built in-house.
  • Two years of development, then 2019Together with the Urbandroid team — the people behind Sleep as Android — we spent about two years developing Sleep Phaser V2 and introduced it in 2019: a simple, practical and affordable bedside lamp that measures movement during sleep.
  • Since thenSleep Phaser grew into its third generation, and in 2026 we added an interactive 3D assembly guide so the lamp mount can be put together without guesswork.
  • TodayThe lamp is paired with Noxuma Sleep, our own free app — so the app stands on its own, and the hardware is there for those who want more than one bed covered.
